Helena Sophia Stahlmecke is an undergraduate political science student at the University of Innsbruck. Since 2015 she has been the representative of the university’s student association for political science and sociology students, where she served as a vice-chairwoman from 2016 until 2018.
Her main interests include international relations, regional conflicts, the Nazi era with a focus on resistance, compliance and euthanasia. Linked to this is her interest in the history of governmental development and its structural conditions as well as the philosophy and conditions that make democracy sustainable. She’s also interested in human rights issues, the influence of propaganda and access to information.
She is currently the chairwoman of Nihil Addendum.
